Hospitalization

Your trusted Animal Emergency Hospital for Emergency Hospitalization

PETS knows it can be a scary time when your pet is experiencing an illness or other medical issue. PETS has a veterinarian and a trained team of veterinary professionals onsite nights, weekends and holidays to provide inpatient care for your pet if inpatient care is required. Keeping a patient in the hospital allows us to closely monitor your pet’s vital signs, administer intravenous fluids or medications and provide ongoing monitoring of your pet’s condition. Some common reasons that your pet may need to be kept in our animal emergency hospital include:

  • Vomiting
  • Urinary obstructions
  • Pancreatitis
  • Post-surgical monitoring and care
  • Toxin ingestion
  • Complications from Diabetes
  • Parvo virus infection
  • Pyometra
  • GDV (Gastric Dilation and Volvulus)
  • Kidney disease
  • Liver disease
  • Heart Disease
  • Pneumonia
  • Rattlesnake bites
  • Trauma

We will work closely with your regular veterinarian to ensure they have all the information related to the care your pet received while hospitalized at PETS. While your pet is hospitalized, we encourage owners to visit their pets when possible. Our team will make sure you are updated on the status of your pet while hospitalized.
